Top 5 Deserted Island Shisha Flavors and Albums
I wish I could tell you that we here at Hookah-shihsa.com expound only on the various nuances of hookah smoking, but that would just not be true. Although the style and substance of all things shisha is our favorite topic, we often raise our voices to elucidate opinions in music. Does Def Leppard suck? Could Explosions in the Sky be played as a funeral march? If Mozart were alive today would he be making beats for Lil Wayne? Conversations at times can become emotional, as we all attach memories to songs, and when someone tells you that Boston should never have been let out of the studio, it cant hurt. No one’s taste is ever wrong. Learning what someone dances around in their underwear to helps you better understand who they are, and as such we have decided to share our Top Five Deserted Island Albums and Flavors of shisha. These are the albums and the shisha that if we were on a deserted island we would long for. You can disagree, but never hate:

Christopher! Thanks for all your help in my search of my dad’s first hookah. I chose the Nammor Nile Hookah package. Also I got a sample of Goodtimes…glad I did, seems like almost everyone couldn’t live without it! Haha. Thanks again for your help, this site is amazing, great customer service!
May 18th, 2009 at 3:01 pmThis is one of your best blog posts EVER! I am totally digging on how the music and mojo mix up together. It great — I *hate* romman Good Times, but totally digg “Sunshine Hit Me” by A Band of Bees; yet I am amazed to think how they might go together!
I seriously thing you guys should get together and do a post like this once every couple of months to track how your tastes are evolving.
A top 5 is tough, but I think the real question would be quick light or ‘natural’ charcoals….

May 29th, 2009 at 12:07 pmReply to Steven. Nara hands down. They last longer, don’t make the shisha taste funky. Quick light are fine but you have to have a very good strong flavored shisha to wash out the weird taste it leaves.
July 8th, 2009 at 5:40 pmI want to smoke with Scott and Kyle. Great toons and great flavors.
August 23rd, 2009 at 2:25 pmI’d suggest scott checks out a band called Coheed and Cabria. Their album ‘Dear Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV; From Fear Through The Eyes of Madness’ is very rush-y. Also, The Dear Hunter’s album ‘Act III: Life and Death’ is very operatic, and musical as Queen is. Great bands and musicians. Thanks guys for rad and ridiculous blogs like this!
