i love this base. its very thick and durable yet still light and stylish. i have had my hookah tip over onto my hard wood floor with this base and it dint even crack. picked it up and went back to smoking (well, after reseting my bowl and coals =-) I'm very impressed and would recomend it to anyone who wants a cool base that is also durable.
This is a good sturdy base and will not break easily. I however have one complaint.More of advice really. I bought my first hookah with a black base and had a hard time getting the fill line perfect because I couldn't gauge the water level because of the paint job :/ I now order clear bases for my own convenience :) Overall it is a good product that lasts and holds plenty of smoke in the chamber for hours of enjoyment :D
