I debated spending the money on this not that it is expensive but I thought I was doing okay without it. Well I am really glad I went ahead and got it. Very handy and use it all the time.
WOW! this thing is absolutely amazing. perfect for holding numerous amounts of coals. dish comes off so its very easy to clean, and i love the lil hook thing on it that i can hang my tongs on it. a great buy for any avid hookah smoker!
If you're an indoor smoker, as I am, this is a real life-saver; no more scalding hot trays full of coals, this nifty little basket will take care of that for you so your hookah head can remain cool. Also it helps out if you have multiple hookahs going at the same time or just want multiple smoking sessions. It also has a place to hang your tongs from so you don't misplace them but the neatest thing of all is that this tray allows you to put one of two lit coals next to an unlit one (all natural please) and if you pack them close enough, within a few minutes the lit coals will turn the unlit ones glowing red! That's a huge timesaver rather than heating just a few at a time, just place a couple of glowing coals in the basket and let the heat transfer do the rest!
I bought one with my May Obelisk hookah and i have to say, it's a handy little tool and i agree with what everyone's review says. Great product =)
This thing is awesome. I used to just walk from the kitchen to my living room with the coals wiht tongs or just use the tray that comes with the hookah but now there is no worry of dropping it on the carpet or burning myself. I got the small one and that holds about 10 coals at a time unless you pile them then of course you can hold more. Buy it!
This is a great little tool right here! I normally use quick-lite coals when smoking by myself but when the time comes for my friends to come over and I play Hookah-tender, this makes life oh so much easier! I've got the medium size, but I wish I would have gotten the large (I have a lot of smoking friends!) Great price too!
This thing comes in handy alot, especially because you want your bowl and tray already on the hookah when your coals are ready. This is a really classy way to move your coals around the house, and prevent the inevitable carpet burns. Great craftsmanship at a great price too. I got the small and it can hold about 6 to 10 decent sized coals, and comes with a place to hang your tongs.
