Comes with every hookah the rod - for punching and clearing holes is not sharp so your going to rip your foil the grip is nice but its hard to slide under the coal

Like most of the reviewers I kept dropping coals, then I had a brainstorm - I took a pair of pliers and bent the tips of the tongs inward 90 degrees, now they hold better than any other tongs I have!
A pair of the silver tongs came with my mini Mya - - - I've dropped and broke so many coals, it's ridiculous - When you add up how many coals I've wasted because of these, they are WAY more than just 3 - 99 - If you have a pair of barbecue tongs laying around, use those instead - Never lost a coal with those!
These are better made than standard tongs but you have to be careful they have little grip without the serrated edges.
These are terrible, I'm sorry to say. No grip whatsoever. I've dropped the coal way too many times.
I ordered these and received the silver tongs as they were in stock. I have a similar gold set and I love them. Way thicker than basic tongs and the poker makes working foil easy. These work best with quicklight coals as the smooth ends make working with natural coals a bit slippery.
I bought these tongs because of the design on them, which is absolutely gorgeous and elegant, but the tips are very smooth so if you use finger style natural coals, you'll have a very difficult time handling them; however the metal on these is thicker than the standard tongs, so even if you hold the coal for a while, you won't burn your hand, but that's the only positive thing I can say about them aside from the looks.
I lost my pair of tongs that came with my hookah, so I went for these. They are much thicker, the "grab strength" is better, and the surface area of the tip allows better control. Also they are quite a bit longer, which means no burns from the sparks on quick light charcoal. Well worth it!
Heads and shoulders above the ones that came with my hookah. Much better strength than my first pair.
