This is my first hookah, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this one to anyone that asks - The draw is amazing - It can produce huge thick smoke with not much effort - The chiller seems to really help that, but I think thar the vent/purge in it is just for looks - - - I can't get it to open - But I don't think it really matters anyway - I would however recommend buying a different bowl - The one that it comes with tends to burn up the shisha kinda quick - I also ordered three plastic ball bearings to replace the metal ones so that they won't rust - It's handmade, so it's not perfect mine has a slight lean but that's what I love about it - It's very decorative - - - even the tray and tongs are engraved - We like to use it as decor when we're not smoking - All in all this is a great hookah to smoke and an even better one to look at - Highly recommend -
I love this hookah - The smoking experience truly is "sublime - " However I was a little disappointed with the size of the base and the fact that it is a much darker green than the picture - I really liked the fact that it was a light green base and was expecting it to be a little larger than the one I received - In fact, my base looks exactly like the dark green Engineer base - Did anyone else experience this?
This hookah exceeded all of my expectations - Incredibly beautiful, well made, easy draw - - - everything a good hookah smoker needs - GET THIS HOOKAH
I have heard bad things about the chiller in general on all hookahs, but on this one i can tell a difference, i think it works great and have never had a problem with the ball bearings
For those having a problem with the ball bearings try going and buying some of those little plastic BB's for Airsoft guns - Works great for me and they never rust -
Ive had mine for nearly two years now, and it is my favorite (of seven). My only complaint is that the ice chamber on top makes it the tiniest bit wobbly on the rubber gasket when its filled with ice. Otherwise, the auto-seal works great (as mentioned by another, keep that...stuff...clean, if you let the bearings rust you'll have to take them out to free them up before every session.) I fill the ice chamber with crushed ice, and put cubes in the vase. Cools things down wonderfully. Especially good with the mint flavors. Have velvet hose covers for it, and with a quick polish with some Brasso, I get more compliments than I can count. It is BEAUTIFUL.
I've found that when you fill the ice chamber up with water and put it in the freezer and prop it up securely, let it freeze solid and then use it and tell me it doesnt make a difference lol! Cool Beans!
amazing hookah
I consider myself an avid smoker. This was my real hookah, and like 20th general hookah (I make my own as a side business/hobby). The good: Reliable hookah, very impressive hookah, fun to own and smoke. Produces quality smoke. The bad: Water level is hard to manage. Ice chiller thing doesn't do much. I would stick with ice in the vase. HOSES ARE AWEFUL (CRACKED AS THEY ARE WOODEN). Overall I probably would have picked a Mya, as you can take those apart. But the design of this hookah is crucial. Even the tray and tongs have designs on them. Quite impressive.
Wow, is this hookah amazing, almost perfect, only 2 warnings. 1. Always, I mean always, keep your 3 ball bearings in oil, so they do not rust. Never leave them in the hookah. 2. always clean this hookah with the utmost diligence, because if you do not, you could ruin it. But it is beautiful hookah over all, and best smoke i have ever had in my life as a hookah smoker.
Dude the ice chamber makes a world of difference. love it.
If chilled shisha smoke is your thing this is the hookah to get. The ice chamber is fantastic, it cools the smoke significantly compared to other hookahs. The smoke is so cool you can't even tell your inhaling it. I put crushed ice in the base and cubed ice in the ice chamber and also add some water with the ice in the chamber and it makes for one of the best smoking experiences around. My friends have Egyptian hookahs and they were amazed at how great this one smoked. I Put the Heba diffuser on it and it does make a slight difference adds to the overall quality of the smoke...smoke is denser and cleaner. This is far and away the best smoking experience I've had and would highly recommend this Hookah to anybody who is seriously considering buying one. The auto-seal system is great no more thumbing the end of the hose!!
This is a well-made hookah and looks nice overall. As for the chiller chamber, I've found it works the best when the ice is crushed.
I don't really want to put good or bad, because I have mixed feelings about this hookah. It is really pretty and much bigger then I thought. The Chiller works well and can tell subtle differences in the taste of the shisha. The craftsmanship is on the lower end of the spectrum if you are used to Mya craftsmanship. The hoses are of low quality and mine have chips in the wood handles and glue all over them. I removed most of it in a couple smoking sessions, but would have rather had that done for me. My main problem with this hookah is that it has a very hard draw to it. It reminds me of a cigar that is rolled to tight. You really have to inhale deeply and hard. I would much rather have a nice smooth draw.
The guy up there in the comments who said the hookah had nothing but problems.... I believe that he did not know what he was doing with his hookah, If you don't know how to set it up right then you're obviously not going to get a good smoke... Learn how to use a hookah before you buy one, that's all I can say... This hookah is amazing, I love it!!!!
