Put in a table spoon of this into my sahara smoke base and swirled for 60 seconds as indicated on the bottle - Guess what?! The paint came off the base and now there are paint chips hanging off the side of the base - Never been more upset - DONT USE BLING ON BASES OR AT ALL CLEAN YOUR HOOKAH AFTER EVERY USE!!!!!!
i used 1 bottle to clean 3 hookahs that had not been cleaned thoroughly in months, all had thick algae build up from inconsiderate dirty people who would use the hookahs without cleaning them and after a few minutes swishing around the solution mixed with some water in the vases it cleaned them all to a crystal clear look again - make sure you rinse out thoroughly before using the hookahs though -
I bought this product in hopes that I'd have a one step cleaning method for my hookahs. While it certainly cleans a hookah very well, it leaves behind quite an odor. I wouldn't regard the odor as a foul smell, hardly. It's actually quite a pleasant smell, though certainly not something I want lingering in my hookah. While I'm sure that once I smoke from my hookah a few time the smell will disappear, though I prefer to clean my hookah after every use so this seems a little counter productive. Some prefer to preform light cleanings after every use and a deep cleaning once every 10 smokes or so... I prefer to deep clean my pipe every time, so this product probably isn't for me.
I've had a hookah for about a year now and this is the first time I've used bling. Normally I use dish soap. From my new found experience, Dish soap works well for small clean ups, but when you want to deep clean use bling. It does have a very powerful cleaner smell and be sure to use gloves if you have sensitive skin. Over all, it worked wonders for my hookah. Oh, and there are cleaning crystals in the solution so be sure to shake well in order to get the proper ratio of crystals to liquid. If you use your hookah frequently, you should purchase bling.

The directions say that it is for use on glass, metal, or ceramics, but there was nothing saying you couldn't use it on other materials. Unfortunately for me, I used it inside my acrylic Mya base, and it damaged the interior. The inside is now all pasty-white, and I can scarcely see inside it. There is also the scent of the cleaner lingering, which I hope will go away as the previous reviewer noted. Luckily, I didn't do the same thing with my hoses! I imagine my base is still useable, but since I can't see it anymore, I may have to end up replacing it. Ensure that you only use it on glass, metal, or ceramics, because you will damage everything else! Other than that, it worked like a charm... the rest of my hookah is much cleaner, and I got rid of the smelly bits coating the inside of the metal parts.
This solution works very well. I didn't realize how dirty my hookah was before I cleaned it with BLING. It says that it doesn't leave a taste but there I found there is a slight bad taste after washing with it but that goes away after a few hits or a bowl.
