Starts poorly and wont stay lit, even when brand new
I've had the lighter for 2 1/2 years. I would have to agree with Chris, while lighting a cigar or whatever, do not point it at your face- this thing puts out a crazy amount of heat. It will light a coal if you need it to. However, for the hardcore hookah smoker you may want to upgrade to something else. I only smoke occasionally, so this thing works fine for me. This lighter comes with a factory warranty and I'm not sure why Swayze didn't make use of it.
I have owned the lighter for nearly a year now and it does a great job lighting cigarettes and cigars. The only thing is you don't want to point the lighter at your face while lighting, like a regular lighter, the heat it puts out is overwhelming. I have also used it to light hookah coals, which it can do. In conclusion the look and feel of the lighter is very nice and I get complements on it regularly. I have no idea how someone managed to break the lighter while filling-I have filled it many times and never had any problems. Sorry "Good until break" just follow the instructions that come with the lighter :-)
It worked nice till i had to refill it. A nail broke out of the refill hole and now the Lighter is useless.
It worked fine for about a week. After that it pretty much stopped lighting alltogether!
Think of how many lighters you go through in one year-now multiply that by five. The warranty alone should be reason enough to purchase this lighter yet, upon receiving this lighter I could not help but be mesmerized by its beauty and power. Looking back I probably could have done it in less time but this was my first experience with the lighter. I agree with Robert, this lighter is a must buy for all hookah smokers.
I was a little bit unsure about buying this lighter due to the cost, but i will never again smoke hookah without one. It takes about 5 seconds to have a coal completely lit and ready to go. When i lost my first one i did not smoke hookah for about 3 weeks, because using an old bic just wasnt worth it. A must buy for all hookah smokers!
