First I have to say Vortex quadruple black "smoke" glass base hookah looks very good! However that's where it ends - - - When I unpacked the order, glass base was broken - Looking at the glass thickness I'm quite disappointed - Even at the thickest point, at the bottom of this base, thickness was around 3mm, whereas at the neck it's only 2mm or even less - I'll have to be extremely careful with this glass base - In comparison, EconoMya-Thunder hookah that I got with my order is at least twice thicker with 5-6mm thickness all around that looks and feels solid - Hookah-shisha support is sending replacement, and I am happy with their support, however this particular Vortex is thumbs down -
I bought this hookah about a month ago, and it was an absolutely wonderful buy. First getting it out of the case, the artwork on the base is intricate and beautiful. The auto-seal feature is great for both group smoking and if you want to smoke a bowl on your own. Not having to remind new hookah-er's to cap the hose is something that's hard to put a price on. Additionally, the air flow through is great. After smoking out of my Vortex for a few weeks, then going to my friend's place and smoking out of his hookah, I instantly noticed the difference in quality. Although the $175 price seemed a bit steep for me I'm pretty "thrifty" most of the time, it was worth every penny. 10/10
Just got this hookah last night. I've smoked 3 bowls out of it so far. Once with 4 people, and twice solo. Great hookah, absolutely beautiful, good draws with great, thick clouds of smoke. The screen it came with works fine, and the coals it came with are manageable, but I found using 2 at once on the screen is the best way to do it. My only real gripe is the tongs it came with. They're beautiful, but not crazy functional. You can still get good use out of them, just gotta be careful when handling your coals with them.
this is the best hookah i have seen. it smokes great and it looks good. my hookah came very quick and the service is great.
I received this hookah two days after placing the order. The case it comes in is great. The hookah itself is beautiful and of high quality. The auto seal hoses work fantastically. Multiple people can smoke at the same time and there is no need for the thumb trick. If you are using a heba diffuser with this hookah you will need to use the smaller one as the neck of the glass base is too narrow for the large one, but I think the small would work better anyways. The chrome of the next and tray is very shiny. The hoses look cool because it has gold thread wrapped around the dark blue plastic, and the wood finish of the handles of the hoses are high quality. The hookah smokes very well and very tight. They pyramid base is good because it makes the hookah very stable.
I adore this hookah. Unlike alot of multi hose hookahs, that require the users not taking a hit to plug their hose, this one has ball berrings in each nozzel that remain closed until sucked. These nozzles can be removed and replaced with plugs, to change to a one, two or three hose, hookah.
