the fuction of the hookah is flawless! great pull, easy to clean, huge/smooth smoke, great to travel with, GORGOUS DESIGN. but as everyone below has said for some reason the base spiderwebs withen the first 6 months it is really weird becuse i didnt even treat it rough. all i was was smoking with a few friends and it just made this clink sound and bam there was a huge spider web i would expect for such a pricey little hookah it would be like a crystal base but its defianetly not! ugh it still smokes nice, but leeks alittle and is not the eye candy it used to be =
I think functionally, this is a great hookah. Assembly is very quick, its extremely durable, and cleanup is quite easy as well. There is some major spider-webbing going on in the clear base, as it is made of plastic, so should be expected. It has been this way for almost a year now and still works like the day it was purchased. I would say this a a great hookah based on ease of use and durability; but it does have an expensive price tag for these features.
After the first week, the entire glass middle "spider webbed," but did not completely break. The hookah smokes good, but the base gets alot of gunk stuck all around the edges that doesn't want to pour out. I've owned 6 hookahs in the past few years and this was the first one to really dissapoint me.
I must admit to being a bit put off by the MADE IN CHINA on the carton, but after using this hookah for a while, I have to say that it's pretty good. Little fine tuning here and there, and it does the job like a Middle Eastern hookah. The wide base is a big plus, it would be difficult to tip over. The clear part is not glass though, so I'm concerned that it will stain or cloud over time. Well see - overall it's a good buy.
