Micron (2 hose) Hookah

These hookah's may look good, but overall quality is lacking - The acrylic base is a poor design element and should be changed to a much more durable material -

The acrylic threading which allows the top to be screwed down wears out quickly leaving you with an air sucking pig. Don't waste your money until they improve the design.

Stylish looks, but has two major flaws. The first is ball-valve system, which is not good, balls getting stuck all the time and work poorly. The second problem is the fact that base is made of plastic and its screw thread was off after a year and hookah went to the garbage.

This hookah has already served me very well. Got the copper looking variant because it looks awesome! Good solid acrylic screw on base and conical shape make this hookah very hard to tip over. Smokes excellently, there is no guide on the acrylic so you will have to do some trial & error work to get the water level right. My only problems with this hookah is that the hard case that it comes with is too small for everything you need to carry around with it so I carry my whole rig around in an aluminum briefcase (hoses, blowtorch, shisha, coals, all hookah parts, windcover, tongs, and an extra 9 foot hose) that it all fits in extremely comfortably. The hookah's autoseal system does not work so you will still have to do the traditional cover the hose after each pull (or stopper one side when going solo). Because of the squat base this hookah has a tendency to suck water into the hoses as well but that problem gets solved with a heba diffuser (you'll have to rig one as the traditional ones are too big; I made mine from aluminum sheet, windowscreen, and brass screws). The gaskets around the screw base are a bit off so water can leak out of the top of the acrylic, however it does not affect smoking performance. And lastly, make sure they send the downstem with the hookah. I got mine without a downstem so I had to cut my old one down to size so I could smoke the hookah.

I got this hookah about a week ago and it's sweet. It's extremely easy to take apart, clean, and set-up. The thick, sturdy parts make for a whisper quiet smoking experience, virtually eliminating the annoying bubbling sound (heba filters help with this too). It's also very appealing to the eye and it smokes great! On the down side, I got the gunmetal black color and the finish is starting to chip off in a few very inconspicuous places (where the pieces screw together and/or rub against each other). Nothing obvious yet, but like I said, I've only had it for a week so I'm slightly worried. Also, the ball bearings don't work particularly well so you still need to cover your hose tip when someone else is smoking. The hoses included with this hookah had a metallic taste after the very first use; I strongly recommend the "nammor hoses" with ANY hookah purchase. Lastly, a couple issues arise from the design of the hookah. The stem that dips into the water is quite short, as is the base, so it needs to be filled up pretty much to the top for the hookah to smoke properly. This sometimes causes the water to leak out the top of the base, especially when trying blow old smoke out. Also, the air intake in the shaft is very close to the water when the base is filled so water often gets into the hose while smoking. Usually this can be solved by lifting the hose up to drain the water back into the base; however, the ball bearings force the water to leak down the outside of the hookah base instead. Basically, this hookah could be better if sealed tighter at the hose grommets and base. Overall, I love this hookah. The problems I've mentioned are more annoyances than actual problems. This hookah is definitely worth the price.

This product is really well made and is very easy to assemble and clean. Beautiful design and very heavy for its size, which means it is built to last. It also fits just about anywhere while looking great. This hookah is highly recommended! :)
