I've had my Stratus for two years, love the interchangeability of the shaft although I rarely take it down from Stratus height. Great thick smoke. I'd definitely recommend a Nammor hose for it. Few things, the top portion has locked up permanently, so I don't bother trying to unscrew it anymore and there is a problem with the acrylic threads stripping, which was easily fixed with some gorilla or electrical tape. I have had this Hookah for about 3 years now. I love it, it is definitely a nice piece of eye candy. The smoke is great. I echo other owners' recommendations that if you do not clean it, the stem seizes up, it becomes very hard to clean- this of course strongly affects the flavor forevermore... (until you soak it in alcohol overnight or something to get the patina out). All in all, strongly recommended if you remember to clean it an change the water regularly.

I purchased this hookah several months ago and although it smokes wonderfully, the finnish has begun to peel off. I think this is a beautiful hookah, but is not meant to be used frequently. The excessive cleaning I think has a negative impact on the asthetic look of the hookah.

Honestly I think the more traditional pipes look better, you can get the glyph, which is a cheaper hookah, which will smoke better, purge better, and last longer. The stem is thicker and heavier, this is just plastic and aluminum, I'd recommend Syrian brass or something Egyptian instead

Pipe is OK, it is very nice to look at however. I noted that if pipe is not disassembled it will seize up and you will have to literally put it in a vice to unscrew, also the threading on the acrylic base is sensitive so there is a good chance you can ruin the threading if not very careful. This pipe is a high maintenance pipe, otherwise it gives very good smoke, like I said just high maintenance.

Love this hookah.. I got it in blue at a local tattoo shop for 70 though... For a bit over $100, I got 2 50g boxes of Romman Shisha, 1 roll of coals, brush, tongs, and the case.. :] I definately enjoy and recommend it.

This hookah is incredible! I was worried that it was going to be cheaply made and put together, but I was wrong. It is very sturdy, easy to clean, and makes a lot of smoke!! The only thing that worries me is the acrylic window stripping. Overall, I'm very satisfied!!

I have had the Stratus Hookah for around 3 months and it has worked like a charm. It is a easy setup, with a wide base, built with high quality material, very tall allowing thick smooth smoke; the stratus hookah is all that is needed for the average or chronic hookah smoker. The only CONCERN I have is that it is a pain to clean and its metal shaft catches much of the tobacco remains. If it isn't cleaned properly it may ruin the metal shafts "screwing in" capabilities, as it did mine. But overall all a Great Hookah just remember the word of warning (clean the hookah)

Watch out for the water level make sure its only an inch above the pipe because of the size of the base its hard to tell or else its the best hookah ive owned and ive owned over 25

I've smoked many hookahs, but never owned one myself. I took my friends' advice and dished out a little extra to get a good one for my first. Definitely worth it. This bad boys smokes better than any I've tried, looks way cooler and not to mention, makes all my friends jealous. In addition, the obnoixiously large bases makes it hard to knock over.

This is the best hookah that i've ever smoked, it is extrememly easy to clean and smokes incredibley. Enormous base eliminates the fear of your hookah falling over, and its a mean looking hookah overall. I highly recommend it

This is fantstic the mid section seperates into two pieces one medium and one small so you can have a hookah the size of the micron, something in between, or both to make the full size stratus. Easy to clean and smokes very well comes with everything you need to start smoking right away. If you have the money I would strongly recomend this hookah.
