The Stratus Hookah is forged of solid stainless steel, with an acrylic window in the base to gauge the water level. The shaft detaches from the base and breaks down into 2 pieces, making for easy portability and cleaning. The Stratus comes with two black 6 foot synthetic leather hoses and all the necessary grommets to ensure an air-tight seal. I feel its a good solid piece, but I did have some problems. The metal threading where the stem breaks down at gets jammed sometimes and requires a lot of force to get it unstuck. I've also had some problems with the carb, no leaks, the ball just gets stuck sometimes and you have to unscrew it and fix it. Cons don't outweigh the pros however. I've gotten a multitude of compliments and "Dude I gotta get one". I really like traditional hookahs don't get me wrong, but I was a sucker for the modern look and feel of this one.
I just got this hookah and I was beyond excited to try it out. so I did, The "auto-seal" for the hoses didn't work and the hookah didnt come with any plugs so it was back to the thumb method. Then as we smoked I was very disappointed that I wasn't getting a lot of smoke either and since I sold my egyptian hookah, to fund getting this one I'm quit depressed it didnt live up to my expectations at all. :[
I liked this hookah when I first got it, but it seemed to wear out very quickly. This hookah is from China, and although the metal base and rings are solid, it is made of cheaper plastic (clear part). The ball bearings (part of auto seal) were different sizes and I eventually abandoned the auto seal. I try to maintain a clean hookah, but for some reason the metal shaft gets gummed up after almost every use. Overall I don't feel like this hookah is worth the money. If I could I would probably spend my money on a full glass hookah.
I have owned this for a year and a half. its a sleek hookah , very durable, only issue is the base is acrylic on the threading and the neck is metal. So I have had to replace the base once already because it would not screw tight and the acrylic shredded. Hookah Shisha did hook me up with a new one at no cost though. I would suggest a revision on the base and then it would be perfect.
This is a good shisha, it looks really great! But there is a problem with the hose adapter...
its really hard to suck u really have to try hard to get the smoke
I'm very happy with mine thus far.
