We like the cube Coco Nara coals the best - After smoking shisha for many years and trying many different kinds of coals, these are the ones we are going to stick with - We have a 4 hose hookah, but my husband and I usually just use 2 hoses - We use two coals and get at least an hour usually closer to 2 of great tasting smoke -
I was pampered because I pretty much started with Nara, but every time I start to branch out to new coals I instantly regret it when comparing to these babies. Yes, they take a while to light and I would like it more if I didn't have to use so many, but they last a good while, ash very little, have a great taste, and are packaged very conveniently which is saying a lot compared to other coals I've had.... I'll be smoking with these for a long time...
i'm disappointed when i don't have access to cocos. they're perfectly sized, burn hot and long, add no flavor, since they're short squares you can turn them on their side for less heat, they're clean... only downside: they're a real trick to light if you don't have a burner to sit them on.
These maybe the best coals ever! Not only are the eco friendly, but the compressed coconut products in these coals don't give you a bad taste like some do. They burn clean, ash perfectly. They are precut which takes out one step with some other coals. I always get huge clouds every time I use these!
