I have tried a variety of coas, both natural and quick-light - These coals were byfar the best I've used to date - The coals did not have any type of nasty smell or taste like the quick-lights tend to have - But it did light rather quickly compared to most natural coals just under 5 minutes - It burned evenly and it was easy to maintain the burn - It burned for over an hour and a half - I used these coals in a Nammor Azizi Hookah, in with a 25g egyptian style bowl, and Starbuzz: Passion Kiss shisha - I'd give this product a 5/5
The best charcoals I've ever used, end of story - Takes about 5 minutes to light on a gas stove, no smell, no sparks, no acrid smoke - They burn up to and over! an hour with almost no ash - I'll never go back to instant-light charcoals - I'm sold - 10 out of 10
Okay I first tried these because of all the hype I’ve heard about them…but you have to try them for yourself to fully understand how AMAZING these coals are!!! I’ve lit these on both gas and coal stoves and they do take a minute, but I throw parties every weekend and I have friends who ask for these coals BY NAME, so the wait is well worth it! We usually throw three coals on a vortex bowl and two on a clay, and they run for a solid hour plus!!! And the clincher, they do not get harsh nastyness taste in the bowl, and barley make any ash!!!
Works great even when I light them on my gas stove. They last for at least 1 hour and produces a fantastic amount of smoke! I highly recommend these.
You can't get better coals then these in my opinion.
I ordered these after reading reviews - and I definitely can say I love the fact they don't smell bad, you can't taste them, and they ash very little. It's an easy clean up and have produced some great smoke. I use 2-3 per session and I will definitely stick with these.
the things take a long time to light. I held a blowtorch over it for 10 minutes and it still went out. But the flavor is greatly improved after you do finally get it lit. Worth it, but only if you got the time.
I bought these my first order and this is what I'll be using again and again... I received some quick lights with the purchase of an Egyptian and there is no comparison...I either use a white gas M-1950 stove to light them or a Burnz-O-Matic propane torch...
These are the best coals I have ever used. I was able to light them on an electric stove (flat surface) in about 8 minutes and they burn for about 45 minutes. They don't give off much a smell either. So much better than quicklights because they don't give a nasty tase either!
i love these coals they do take a bit to light (5-10mins for 2-3 coals) but once lite they last forever well over an hour easy good heat and no taste
These are the best coals I've used so far. You can not taste them at all while you smoke. The produce very little ash. I light up 3 coals for 1 session. Use 2 until they get to about half their original size then throw on the third. Great smoke for over an hour!
These maybe the best coals ever! Not only are the eco friendly, but the compressed coconut products in these coals don't give you a bad taste like some do. They burn clean, ash perfectly. They are precut which takes out one step with some other coals. I always get huge clouds every time I use these!
