Three King Coals are a quality quick-light charcoal manufactured in Holland. Each box contains 10 rolls with each roll containing 10 pieces (100 individual pieces) of 40mm quick lighting charcoals. Simply light the charcoal with a lighter and the charcoal will become red hot in seconds. Each piece will stay lit for 35-50 minutes.
These authentic Three Kings coals are excellent, I wouldn't have any other coal - These coals are not pleasant smelling upon lighting, but then again, no quick lights are good smelling - The smell goes away fast and these coals don't affect the flavor of the smoke - These coals also last a good while, I usually start two and set each one on opposite edges of my mya jumba bowl - perfect thick wonderful smoke!
I really like the shape of these coals, I think they're perfect for my hookah bowl and are very consistent - They last quite some time and light very quickly - However, I wish they had a natural version because those quick-light chemicals make it barely worth smoking for me - I feel like every bowl is tainted by it - To each his own, but I'm willing to wait out my Cocos -
I've used several other brands of coals when my local shop was out of three kings and so far three kings are my favorite. They last long enough for a session by yourself about an hour per coal and they aren't wasteful for big sessions. My brother bought me a box for my birthday several months ago and I still have about 5 rolls. Great coals, even heating, every once in a while you gotta move em around when using bigger bowls but that's true of any coal....A++ in my opinion
I've been using these coals since I started smoking hookah. They are quick as lightning to burn through, and have no after flavor to contaminate the smoke. The width of the coal makes for good, even burning, and you end up going through less coals as well. Yes, they do pop. No, it has never actually HURT anyone of my friends or myself. And, quite literally, it has made boring smokes a little more... exciting. lol
Get these back in stock! These have been my tried and true coals and using the smaller Three Kings coals is good, but not the same!
I wished I had found this site months ago. Been paying $5.95 a roll for these at my local shop. I don't have tons of experience being a hookah neophyte but these coals do spark a bit, fast lighting, and no flavor. So from the 2 others I have tried so far I like these the best.
These coals are very similar to Golden Coals. I prefer the 40mm size because it gives me more smoke without sacrificing the flavor like when I would use two 33mm coals. This brand sparks a lot, but becomes red hot much faster than Al Fahkar coals. You don't have to blow on them for a while to heat them up. They break easier than Al Fahker coals, but having a quick lighting coal is more important to me.
I bought a roll of these from our local smoke shop and the only complaint i have is those bastards charged me $5! They are a great deal on here $20 for 10 rolls is a steal! These coals burn hot, last long, and don't make your shisha taste bad; A++!!!
these are very nice coals, light quick, burn fairly hot, no charcoal taste (unless you light them on your bowl, which is a stupid idea and makes your smoke taste like balls). if you want a coal that burns extremely hot, get some natural lemonwood coals or some natural coconut coals. if you want something that lights in 30 seconds, these are your best bet. it fits right on top of my bowl, distributes heat evenly, doesn't ash a whole lot, and lasts for hours.
Contrary to what everyone else seems to say, these actually do pop while being lit, causing hot particles to burn your hand (when using a lighter). Also, they burn really hot and the smoke always comes out with a burnt taste to it. The "Golden Coals" also pop, but they don't burn as hot and don't scorch the bowl.
These coals work very well but I like the 33mm size they don't seem to ash as heavy and the bigger ones in my experiance have a greater tendency to shoot huge chunks off.
If you are going to get quicklights these aren't the ones. Grab some Goldens. 30% of the time these coals have exploded on the bowl. Won't even let them in my house now.
THESE COALS ARE SO FAR THEE BEST COALS EVER. THEY LIGHT FAST. NO PARTICLES COME OFF OF IT. I PREFER THESE ONES, OR THE 33MM, BUT YOU MIGHT HAVE TO USE MORE OF THEM, LIKE 2 AT THE MOST. AND TRUST ME, THERES NOTHING BETTER THEN THREE KINGS! CAUTION: YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER TO BUY! LOL I THOUGHT THAT WAS JUST FUNNY TO SAY
