I never really tried any other tobacco than what my friends used which was starbuzz or Romman. I was skeptical about the cheaper brands or the more "middle eastern" brands. However i bought a 250 Al Amir Mocha Latte, and got it in the mail today. The flavor and scent was pleasent, and by far the juiciest Shisha i have seen. But it was not bad at all, had a nice buzz to it, not so overpowering that it makes you sick. But if your skeptical, dont be, i was pleasantly surprised.
when i tried the Al Amir exotic Sex on the Beach at at friends house i immediately had to order 250g for myself. I have many other types of shisha such as fantasia and starbuzz but the al amir exotic sex on the beach is guarenteed my favorite smoke.
Honestly now that I've come around to reviewing Al Amir Exotic I've realized how much I liked it when we first got it. Me and my friends ordered Al Amir Caramel Apple with our first order from this site and looking back on it after many months, I realized that this shisha was indeed quite good. Compared with the things we smoke now,like Al Fakher and Nahkla, I noticed the Al Amir has a very fine, very smooth taste, and very smooth smoke to boot. It is definitely one of the best chill-out shishas. While it doesn't hit as hard as Al Fakher or Nahkla, or taste as strong as them, the change of pace was indeed refreshing and the subtle taste is also something that I haven't experienced with any other brand I've smoked so far. The smell from the container was godly, and while it's not extremely pronounced when you smoke it, the fine silky smooth taste seeps in after a while, I have to say I really enjoyed the shisha while it lasted. I have not ordered since because I live in Canada and we got f'd at customs, but I am looking to buy from this brand from the future, hopefully trying the other flavors that it has to offer. The shisha was most excellent overall, so frigging juicy and tasty, and absolutely stemless. If I was living in the U.S., I'd definitely make this brand one of my top weekly smokes. I recommend this brand to anyone who enjoys smoking subtle shisha without getting too wrecked on a hardcore buzz, and a good atmosphere with few people and warm day are preferable to bring out the sweetness in the shisha.
I picked up a jar of sex on the beach on with a pumpkin hookah while on vacation in Hawaii. It wasn't the best shisha I've had. It had a lot of stems and smoked kind of harsh, but I up with it since I was on vacation. Overall, worth the try.
I've smoked every Shisha brand on this site. Al Amir is by far the best. Lemon Mint is the best flavor of all time. Now, Tonic's Mojito is a very very close second. I would Recommend Al Amir and Tonic, but Al Amir first.
The reason why people rate Al Amir so high is because of the Lemon Mint flavor and the smoke that all of the shisha produces. It produces the thickest, most tasteful smoke.
I honestly don't know why it's gotten such great reviews here and elsewhere. This Al Amir line is hardly premium. I had three flavors Cherry Cola, Mango Papaya, and Black Grape. The best was Black Grape, but still sub par for a premium brand. The smoke and taste were weak, an unnecessary amount of stems and the flavors didn't taste as named. Al Fakher is a better value, just get the flavors they're good at (ie. Lemon, Cola, Rose, Cherry, Double Apple, Guava, Grape, etc.).
Didnt really expect much from exotic Al Amir from the reviews with the regular but it was still more than i expected! first the texture is great, not too dry but not to moist, just right. second, the smell was just amazing :). finally, the smoking session was great! didnt lose the taste and only needed 1 coal to start and keep it going. i think i have a new favorite shisha!
This stuff is real good. Got it at a local shop and was impressed. I got white peach and I smoked it everyday til it was gone and didn't get sick of it.
If you tried the regular line of Al Amir and wasn't a fan, try this. It is a whole level above. This is a great tobacco, extremely moist and flavorful.
