I had read reviews these coals were the bees-knees - - - so i bought the triple pack and figured i'd give them a go - BAD idea - They burn super fast, even in the ultimate combo bowl with lid down - leave a LOT of ash - hard to get lit - don't heat evenly, come in random size pieces, from little tiny chunks too small to use to pieces as big as the base of my hookah mya paragon - I got a little sample pack of coco-nara flat coals with some shisha i bought and fell in love with them - Use them all up and just ordered the 5 bag pack of coco-nara flat coals to restock, yes, pricier, but for a good quality coal and great smoking experience they are well worth the money - These lemonwood coals are going in my charcoal grill in the smoker box, as that is about all they are good for; high quality grilling coals - do NOT buy for smoking -
these coals are great, very difficult to get started but once you do you can not taste them at all and they burn the tobacco smoothly. the only real downside is that if under windy conditions they burn very quickly and often times you'll get a lot of coal "shake" at the bottom of the bag
