When I bought the Egyptian clay bowl this is what they sent me, and they said that the design may be different. But this bowl works pretty well for what it's worth, its great for parties because of how deep it is, if using this by one's self, this will waste a lot of shisha. So declare this as your party bowl!
You can never go wrong with an egyptian clay bowl.
I like it. I got the small bowl. They are great for heat management. Great investment if you are an avid hookah user
I purchased the tiny and small - The tiny does not smoke as long as my Med - shallow Egypt bowl that I got w/ my hookah - It fits enough for one person to smoke for about 1hr - Not a whole lot of air flow with it either - The small is a little bit better but it seems too deep for me and shisha needs to be saved for next smoke session - In all these two bowls are ok but not top notch -
My only complaint which I think makes this bowl horrible is that every time I've used this bowl it leaks a large amount of the Molasses into the stem - This really applies to any bowl that has the holes directly under the tobacco - Basically I recommend purchasing a phunnel or vortex bowl to keep the molasses with the tobacco -
I've had a small bowl before and this is a million times better! I don't recommend getting this if you have the money to get a vortex bowl though, because the vortex is THE BEST! I will give this egyptian bowl credit however, because it does do a decent job for being my standard with my KM - It is a little more shallow than I expected the bowl to be, and one of my holes was covered - That was the bad part, the good part is that mine looked nice and it performs well, so for a freebie with my KM, it is decent - I give it a 7/10 - Does the job for a session, but doesn't beat a vortex -
Durable, excellent bowl. I have used mine for quite a long time without any issues.
I just got the Egyptian bowl in and i am very disappointed. I ordered 2 because my old Egyptian bowl broke and i loved it. So they came in and are super small, like im sayin it holds up to 5 grams of shisha and my old 1 held like 15-20. I got gyped and very disappointed with this product 2 out of 10.
The stock bowl that came with my hookah is very small and i wanted something bigger. This bowl works perfectly. I had to put a little bit of electrical tape around my grommet so that it was airtight. It is glazed so the shisha flavor does not stick to it as much when comes time to clean it.
I just got this 30mins ago in the mail. For $3.95 i guess its ok. It is quite large and not as deep as i'd like it to be. The glaze on it is uneven and inside of it there is a large dried up piece of clay that blocks it from sitting snugly and airtight on the stem. I'm sure I could fix this problem with a small screw driver and hammer but seriously, there has got to be better bowls out there. Id give it a 4 out of 10
While this bowl does its job well I found it to be way to big. Even with 4 friends smoking it for nearly 2 hours there was so much wasted shisha. I bought this one because I thought the standard bowl that came with my Mya Bambino was too big and deep, that bowl can practically fit inside of this one. If you find yourself wasting a lot of shisha get the conservative bowl that is sold on this site.
Don't be fooled by the price, It's the best! stock up on this total bargain. (Yes I tried the funnel bowl)...ha...ha, someone somewhere is laughing.
Came with a Syrian hookah I bought at a local smoke shop and I just don't like it as much as I do my old mod bowl. This bowl doesn't hold as much shisha, it's so tall that knocking a coal into the ashtray while smoking breaks the coal into tiny pieces, it's neck is really small and I can't pull as easily, and it's holes aren't placed evenly so it burns shisha unevenly. I just don't like anything about it
Got one of these with the hookah i bought and 2 of the 4 holes didn't go all the way through. i fixed it with a drill press but was a little dissapointed that i would be sent something defective on my first purchace. But now that its fixed it works great. hope it wont happen again STORE MANAGER NOTE: Egyptian bowls are made by hand in the Middle East, and are extremely traditional in construction. The bowl is a good base, comes free with most purchases and a great conservation out of it. I can get Romman to smoke for almost 90 minutes with this bad boy
