Tempest (1 hose) Hookah

I just purchased this hookah because my girlfriend wanted one to keep at her house - The thing is, she wanted a "pretty one - " After looking at several different ones, she chose this one and I was worried about the quality of it - I wanted a practical hookah-she wanted a pretty hookah - The hookah came by UPS in the exact amount of time promised - I used Turkish Coffee in an egyptian clay bowl with two coconara coals - I was a little worried because as I was taking in the first hit, there was no noise - at all - There was no smoke either - I opened the air-intake valve a little more, still no sound on the inhale, but an enormous cloud of smoke and an amazing taste in my mouth - This sn't my first hookah, but it may be my last - It looks great, it smokes extremely quiet, and isn't obnoxiously large - Great buy

this hookah is really pretty to look at - good aspects are that the blown-glass is really beautiful and well-crafted - it's a good mid-size hookah for every-day, table-top use - the hose and bowl it came with are adequate - i wasn't expecting top quality accessories - it is nice that a hard carrying case is included and not a bag - the glass on the stem makes it very unique and a conversation piece - the cons are the large grommet used to attach the stem to the base doesn't fit properly, which makes for a leaning hookah - the down-shaft is also too long and scrapes the bottom of the base - if pushed too far in it will cause a seal making it impossible to draw - i'm sure both are easily and economically replaceable - i'd also like to see a larger ash tray, one that is wider - again, something easily replaceable - the beauty of the hookah definitely outweighs any small downfalls it may have -
