Fumari Prickly Pear Shisha Tobacco Review

Are we talking about pears or cactus fruit? Our good friend Mr. Wikipedia suggests that the term prickly pear actually refers to the Opuntia cactus from which cactus fruit (or prickly pear) comes from. This fruit is also known as Fig or Indian Fig. I couldn't tell you why this one fruit has a dissociative identity disorder, but it does.

Fumari Prickly Pear Shisha Tobacco takes this complex fruit and funnels all of its personalities into an interesting shisha flavor. Five minutes alone with this flavor is all I need to see through the many masks and find its true face. Let the interrogation begin!

Fumari Prickly Pear shisha tobacco has a very rich, sweet fruit aroma reminiscent of a dark berry Kool-Aid. After a few puffs from my Nammor Hose, Prickly Pear tastes like a seedy strawberry with a slightly bitter undertone. If you close your eyes, you'd swear you were smoking straight up strawberry. I expected more of that bitterness you get from shisha flavors like guava or fig. While I do think the name is a little misleading, Fumari Prickly Pear shisha tobacco does stand up against most strawberry flavored shisha on the market (although I don't think that's what they were going for).

Give it a try for yourself and tell us what you think of Fumari Prickly Pear shisha tobacco by leaving comments below or by posting on our Facebook page. Did you have a similar experience with Prickly Pear or was yours completely different? We want to know! Happy Smoking friends!

P.S. I also read that prickly pear fruit significantly reduced nausea, dry mouth, loss of appetite, as well as reducing the effects of a hangover (in some medical studies). This particular shisha tobacco doesn't produce results like that, but I thought it was worth sharing with you anyway! Food for thought.
