Shisha Review: Tonic Shisha Tobacco - After Sex

By Jono / March 21, 2011

A while back, a co-worker came up to me and asked, "Hey man, does this smell like Fruity Pebbles cereal to you?" I kept thinking to myself how dead on his assessment was. He was referring to Tonic After Sex shisha tobacco, and I couldn't wait to smoke it! With a name like After Sex and an undeniably delicious aroma, I expected only great things. After all, that's a pretty bold name. A few google searches later, I came to learn that After Sex is actually a drink made with vodka, creme de bananes, and orange juice.  So now I don't know what to expect! Let's just light up the ol' hookah bowl and find out, shall we! At first, Tonic After Sex tasted like a lemony orange. However, that lemon flavor must've been my imagination though, because within 5 or 6 rips, it shifted to a domanantly orange flavor with light banana cream undertones. I'm not sure where the Fruity Pebbles' vibe disappeared, but I was pleasantly surprised by the end result. There's no Vodka flavor I'm sorry to report, but I don't think you'll miss it. The orange and banana cream flavor from Tonic After Sex came out of nowhere!  Here I am expecting to taste a fruit roll-up, and I get suckerpunched with this unique and delicious awesomeness. And the clouds on this stuff... man where they huge! Tonic After Sex shisha tobacco has one of those names that makes you want to giggle under breath, but its flavor isn't anything to joke about, that's for sure! Try it for yourself and let us know what you think about it by leaving comments below or by posting on our Facebook page! I'm sure you can come up with some clever puns to make us all laugh! We look forward to hearing your responses! Happy Smoking friends!
