Bad
"BAD SMELL"
Joseph Nichols on Tuesday, December 05, 2017 8:49:30 PM

Used to be good - Previously had a 3x96 order and they were great - This most recent order of 3x96 smelled horrible upon lighting, and they ash in a darker color - Did they change what they were made of? I would stay away from these since nobody can give me any reason why all 3 of my 96-coal boxes were bad -

Nothing special - For this price I can buy premium charcoals such as Titanium or Ecocha - Definitely better quality and heats longer -

"Coco Mazaya Coal Review"

These are great coals, which is exactly what should be expected since they are from the same makers as Coco Nara coals. I like this shape a little better because 3 fit the kaloud lotus perfectly.

"Best Coals on the Market"

These are basically the square version of Coconara coals - They are slightly bigger and burn in the same way, just longer - They are my favorite coconut coals for that reason - The shape just works -

"Not as good as the flats with a vortex"
LukasG on Sunday, December 15, 2013 10:16:24 AM

I recently bought a box of the new Mazaya cubes to test out - I'm a long time Coco Nara Flats user, and the cubes just didn't do it for me - They take about the same time to light, but they do take longer to heat up the shisha because of the decreased surface area and they also seemed to provide a shorter smoking window before the coals were to small to be effective - Back to the flats for me, these were not even close in perfomance -

"Best Coals Hands Down"
DSchram on Saturday, March 23, 2013 5:17:24 AM

What can I say about these cubes that hasn't already been said? They are the new name for Coconara Cubes, which we all know were the best around - New look same product - Coconara = Flat, Cocomazaya = Cube If you are thinking about making the switch from quicklights, do not hesitate - Get yourself a cheap single coil electric burner if need be - That burner's and these coals' benefit will far outweigh whatever investment you could possibly make into improving your hookah experience otherwise!

"Best coals!"
Liliana Buenrostro on Saturday, March 09, 2013 12:57:56 PM

I have tried both, instant coals & natural coconut coals - I instantly fell in love with the coconut coals since they do not give a harsh taste or odor - They are perfect & long lasting; I definitely recommend them!

"A little ashier than some, but awesome!"
Zac on Thursday, February 28, 2013 2:40:01 PM

I picked these up the other day from a local smoke shop as I ran out of coals suddenly - I had read the reviews on here, and saw they were made by the same company as Coconaras so I figured it was worth a shot - Turns out these coals are really awesome - They are very similar to the Coconara cubes - Literally the only downside I can think of is the fact that they do need to be ashed more frequently than some natural coals, and the ash doesn't cling as well when left undisturbed - However, even though some ash got in my bowl, it did not effect the taste of the shisha whatsoever - I find these have even less of a taste than Coconaras; I can't remember the last time I've had such a pleasant smoking experience - 2 coals seems to be the perfect amount of heat for certain brands of shisha that require less especially Starbuzz, whereas 3 coals was perfect for some Romman and Xhale vapor stones - In addition, I am very prone to headaches and most quick lights have me on the floor immediately - Coconaras are better, but I have to really space out my use - I have had NO problems whatsoever with the Coco Mazayas, and for me that is really important - I can't recommend these highly enough!

"Better than CoCoNara"
Kaje Watkins on Sunday, January 13, 2013 2:56:55 AM

Will be buying these from now on - No problems whatsoever, and I like the cube shape - They are also more uniform and complete than Coconara and Gaia Coals - Highly Recommended!

"Great backup to Coco Nara"
Tony on Monday, January 07, 2013 3:04:43 AM

These coals are great to have in addition to coco nara - The shape is more of a block than flat and make an excellent heat source - Use a coil hot plate for best results -

"awesome coals"
Wesley Ewing on Tuesday, May 01, 2012 6:48:34 AM

These coals are made by CocoNara - Ive used both now and I have to say they are the same thing - I like these better because they are more uniform than coconara's - Both coals are great - People who diss on these don't let them light up long enough and thats why the smoke is harsh or won't smoke at all - Learn how to use these and stay away from quick lights -

"GOOD S"
Karl Stewart on Monday, March 12, 2012 5:58:17 PM

Essentially the same as Coconaras but are perfect cubes and they put out the same heat capacity also - I wouldnt say they last longer than the Coconaras though, roughly the same burning time - All in all quality coals, no taste, just pure smoke -
