Do you wanna go old school? If so the Sand Storm bowl should be the first item on the list, behind a traditional hookah setup. These Sandstorm bowls might have actually survived a couple of real sandstorms during their time in Egypt, where this bowl received some quality handwork. This bowl is completely unglazed, so you will never need to worry about a glaze fading or cracking on you during its lifetime.
*These bowls are handmade and vary in color/size*
Sandstorm of Flavor
The Shika Sandstorm bowl is designed to function like a classic phunnel bowl, featuring one single air channel with a surrounding loading area. Just like many other phunnel bowls, the Sandstorm features a raised spire to prevent any leakage in your hookah stem or base. We haven't met the hookah smoker that enjoys cleaning up a mess after a session, which is why we find the phunnel bowl benefits to be so useful.
Utilizing the Sandstorm bowl in your smoke session allows you trap the flavor inside the bowl, prolonging the flavor for a better experience. This bowl can be used in combination with the
Kaloud Lotus, so you can sit back and enjoy a very clean session with phenomenal flavor output.
Shika Sandstorm Specifications
The Sandstorm bowl may be the beefiest bowl to add to your collection, with its combined weight and size, your friends will know that "It's about to go down" when you go to load it. Since these bowls are handmade they tend to vary slightly on their sizing, the height is around 5 inches and the overall diameter is 3 1/2 inches.
Each bowls typically allows for up to 17-25 grams of shisha to be used, allowing for several types of packing methods to be utilized. Without the use of glaze some flavors may require a higher level of cleaning, and our pro-tip of the day would be boiling them in water, this releases any trapped flavors or colors.
We recommend using the Sand Storm bowl with a
mod bowl grommet to ensure a tight seal.
