Hookah-Shisha Bowl Buying Guide
How To: Use A Rook Bowl
The Rook Is Back In The House
One of our favorite bowls from last year is back with new color options and a slimmer neck design. The original rook bowl recieved high praise for its durable quality even after heavy usage and the improved airflow from the spire design.
Alpaca bowl company takes their time with each bowl they produce to ensure an even placement of cutouts
and uniform diameter size
capable of utilizing heat management devices
. Their choice of high quality continues to handle high levels of heat with ease. We recommend using natural charcoals
with this bowl and depending on your coals size the required amount of coals will range from 2-4 pieces.
Alpaca OG Rook Bowl Description
The word "Rook" comes from the game of chess, and this particular object has a castle style head similar to the spire of the Rook Bowl. This bowl is designed to function like a standard phunnel, so all of the juice stays inside your bowl and not in your downstem. The OG Rook bowl can hold around 15-25 grams of your favorite tobacco, which allows long lasting sessions with optimal airflow. These bowls are manufactured here in the US, with high quality clay and lead free glaze.
OG Rook Bowl Feature
The unique spire for this bowl wasn't added for the chess fans, it actually creates a phenomenal session. This 4 way air chamber allows the smoke to flow straight into the downstem, without the normal barrier of a standard phunnel spire. In our test sessions with this bowl we achieved the greatest sessions by densely packing the shisha around the spire, always leave the air channels clear of any blockage.
How To Use A Bowl Grommet
We recommend using the Rook bowl with a mod bowl grommet
