I have smoked about 20 different Al-Fakher flavors, some have been great and are a staple in my shisha cabinet, but some - - - well, aren't as good - I believe that I should preface this review with the fact that I like stronger flavor profiles, and prefer spice and traditional flavors more than fruits and such - My absolute favorite Al-Fakher flavor is Mint - - - and having tried Mint offerings from other manufacturers, I feel that AF Mint has the best profile and best flavor - - - it is also highly mixable with other flavors as well - Coming in second are the spice and floral flavors, like Jasmine, Rose and Cinnamon, Chocolate, Cardamom, Gum, Gum Mastic, Gum Cinnamon - - - all have fairly strong flavor profiles and are very good when I want a lighter smoke - As a washed tobacco brand, Al-Fakher flavors are all lighter than their unwashed brethren, but still provide a good buzz though it doesn't last as long as say, Tangiers, Nakhla or Starbuzz Vintage - I have tried many AF straight fruit flavors Cherry, Orange, Lemon, Kiwi, Blueberry, Strawberry, Melon, Pineapple, Fresh Mist, Fruit Cocktail, Watermelon and with two exceptions all have fallen short of the mark - - - those exceptions are Pineapple and Watermelon - - - I was pleasantly surprised by these flavors as they provide great longevity of flavor, up to about 75-90 minutes - Some of the fruit flavors mixed with Mint are good as the mint for some reason carries the fruit along with it, included Orange with Mint, Lemon with Mint and Blueberry with Mint, Watermelon with Mint - - - a slight fruit flavor comes through as does the incomparable taste of AF Mint - Overall, if you're an experienced smoker and want a light smoke to share or not, you can't go wrong with AF mint and spice flavors - Not only that, it is widely available and inexpensive, not to mention fairly tolerant of varying heat -
