Fumari Hookah Charcoal

After finding worldwide success with their popular collection of shisha flavors, Fumari created their own line of hookah coals to provide the perfect heat source for not just their juicy shisha recipe, but other brands as well! Whether you're looking for an all-natural, medium heat option with their Fuoco coconut coals or a unique, low-heat formula with their Quick Silver tab-style hookah coals, the Fumari team is here to make you're covered when it comes time to heat your next hookah session.

What is the difference between the Fumari Fuoco and Quick Silver coals?

Fumari Fuoco coals are made from all-natural coconut shells and deliver a medium heat output when smoking. Fumari Quick Silver coals are "silver tab" coals that deliver a low heat output. They are primarily used when smoking heat-sensitive, dark leaf tobacco as well as to prolong flavor strength at the expense of smoke thickness.

What are silver tab coals?

Silver tab coals are a unique, Japanese-style hookah charcoal. Characterized by their silver coating, these coals offer a lightweight, low heat charcoal option that is often used when smoking heat-sensitive, dark-leaf shisha that typically excels when smoked with lower heat.

How do I light Fumari coals?

You will need either an electric coil stove or a hookah charcoal burner to light both the Fumari Fuoco and Quicksilver coals. Place your charcoal pieces directly on the electric coil or burner and turn it up to the highest setting. Once the bottom half of the coals are lit, flip each one with your tongs so the other side can fully light. Depending on the size of the coal you're using and the power of the burner, the Fuoco coals will be fully lit after approximately 7-15 minutes, or when all sides are entirely red-orange. The Quicksilver coals will take approximately 3-5 minutes to finish lighting.

How long do Fumari coals last when smoking?

The Fumari Fuoco coconut coals last approximately 45-60 minutes when smoking. The Fumari Quick Silver coals will stay lit for approximately 30-45 minutes. Overall coal longevity can be affected by how often you inhale and the amount of airflow around your hookah. Using a hookah wind cover or heat management device can help prolong the life of your coals if desired.

How many pieces of Fumari hookah coal should I use on my hookah bowl?

Depending on the size of your hookah bowl and your choice of shisha, we recommend using 2-3 pieces of Fumari Fuoco coals or 2-4 Quick Silver coals on your bowl at one time.
