You will need either an electric coil stove or a hookah charcoal burner to light both the Fumari Fuoco and Quick Silver coals. Place your charcoal pieces directly on the electric coil or burner and turn up the stove to the highest setting. Once the bottom half of the coals are lit, flip each charcoal piece with your tongs so the other side can fully light. Depending on the size of the coal and the power of the pre-heated Fumari burner, the Fuoco coals will be fully lit after approximately seven to 15 minutes or when all sides are entirely red-orange. Quick Silver will take approximately three to five minutes to finish lighting. You'll be ready to use your Fumari tobacco products in no time.

The Fumari Fuoco coconut coals last approximately 45 to 60 minutes and the Fumari Quick Silver coals will stay lit for 30 to 45 minutes. Overall, the longevity can be affected by how often you inhale, the tobacco products you use, and the amount of airflow around your hookah. Using a hookah wind cover or heat management device can prolong the life of your coals if desired.
